Lithographic map of the Townsite of Nanninewith hand drawn annotations including that of the Electoral District boundaries laid on linen. The annotations include the date the town was gazetted on 24th July 1896. The word Townsite has been crossed out and the word Municipality substituted..We assume that these maps were used to define new electoral boundaries and may be unique, being the amended and updated copies of maps to the 8th October 1900. There is a signature in ink to the bottom left with the initials LMB 2/10/00 presumably the signature of the Chief Draughtsman. The map was printed for the Department of Lands and Surveys under instruction from the Hon George Throssell MLA, Minister for Lands and under the supervision of Harry F Johnston Surveyor General of Western Australia.
