Scarce original print depicting Fremantle, Western Australia. This is one of the earliest known engraved views of Fremantle. The scene is from the Court House at Arthur’s Head, which was built to the south side of the Round House in 1835, down the High Street. The Swan River is to the left and South Bay to the right which has now been reclaimed. Printed by James Henshall, 1 Cloudesley Terrace, Islington.
