It stated in the brochure. The principal airport in the metropolitan area is situated at South Guildford, about seven miles from the General Post Office. From this airport services are conducted to the Eastern States, the North West, the main mining and pastoral centres of the State, Busselton and Albany. The air service to Rottnest is operated by Airlines (WA) Ltd from Guildford, and Woods Airways from Maylands. The Royal Aero Club of Western Australia also operates from Maylands, which is approximately five miles from Perth.
