The Cassells Dispatch Atlas was compiled by Edward Weller and John Dower. Edward Weller was a cartographer and lithographer and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He died in 1884. John Dower was also a cartographer and engraver working in Pentonville, London in the second quarter of the 19th Century. The atlas was issued between 1858 and 1863.
